Last night I was watching a show on Discovery Health. On it, two doctors followed four families who agreed to make healthy changes to their diet and exercise. They claimed that if the victims stuck to the program for three months, they would make permanent and lasting changes that could extend their lives.
My 90 days started today, Jan. 7, 2008. Happy New Year.
This journal is for me. A place to record what I ate, how much I exercised, and to plot my path to a new body in 90 days.
Here's what I ate on Day 1:
Breakfast: rye toast, hard boiled egg white (150 cals.)
Lunch: 1 slice cheese pizza (450 cals.)
Snack: pretzels (150 cals)
Dinner: tuna sandwich, cole slaw (400 cals.)
Snack: pretzels (150 cals.)
Total: 1300
